Role overview

This is a great opportunity for an all-round Accounts professional to join this lovely friendly company to manage the everyday administration of the accounting and finance function reporting directly to the MD.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgerInvoicing and raising PO’s
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card/expenses
  • Credit control
  • Keep all ledgers up to date
  • Collation of payroll info for Accountant
  • Some basic reporting of cash flow and expenditure
  • Preparation of reports for management team
  • Month end/year end closure for submission to Accountant

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in an all-round Accounts Admin role
  • Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • Confident in working on your own initiative and taking ownership for the Accounts Administration function
  • Good MS Excel
  • Eye for detail and able to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised, personable and flexible to support the wider business
  • Working towards/or AAT qualified highly desirable

Hours: Monday to Friday either 8.30-5.30pm with 1 hour lunch or 8.30-5 with 30 min lunch

Although public transport runs to the area it maybe a more ideal location for a car/driver

Parking is available on site.
